Career Outlook

Graduates of NCC’s Vocational Nursing program are required to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) examinations developed and maintained by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

NOTE: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) are two titles referring to the same role. LVN is used in California and Texas, while LPN is utilized in all other states.
